The house that’s built upon the
rock
shall weather any storm
as forces try to knock it down
they come in many forms

rooted and grounded in God’s word
strengthens its foundation
hard to compromise or ruin
it has preservation

so when the storms of life engulf
with destruction in mind
this structure stands amid the gale
no weakness can it find

for Jesus is this solid rock
of Whom we build our faith
protection anchored by His word
a haven of escape
____
deep are the profound words of truth
which Jesus has proclaimed
in proving that these truths do work
and victory can be gained

for nothing which the gates of hell
can prevail against it
as mighty God provides the way
on man He’ll never quit
____
a house that’s built upon the rock
shall never fall away
preserved forever in His grace
